Cloud Sync and Focus Shortcuts
This update polishes the background engine for cloud sync, tightens how Adaptive Loadout rules behave when you delete a saved website, and makes the Alt + W focus shortcut strictly respect on-screen windows.
Improvements
- Smart App Deletion Lifecycle. Deleting a saved website from "My Apps" that is actively used as an Adaptive Loadout trigger now asks you to choose: keep the automation rule, or delete both at once.
- Independent Rule Syncing. Adaptive rules now store their own target URLs independently of the app catalog. Deleting a website bookmark on one PC updates your cloud state without breaking the rule or leaving empty ghost slots on other devices.
- Resilient Triggers. If you delete a saved website but keep its Adaptive Loadout rule, the "Open main app" shortcut now falls back to opening the raw web URL instead of failing a catalog lookup.
Fixes
- Strict Focus Toggling. Alt + W now only toggles focus for active, on-screen windows. It no longer un-minimizes or restores hidden apps.

Welcome to the Public Beta
Welcome to the v1.0.0 public beta. This release finalizes the core architecture for Swyvo's official launch, introduces our new licensing structure, and gives you a first look at what is coming in Swyvo Pro. If you hit a locked feature, you will now see the Early Supporter Waitlist — leave your email there to get notified the moment limited Batch 1 Pro licenses open.
New
- Early Supporter Waitlist. Locked Pro features now open a waitlist modal so you can leave your email and get notified the second limited Batch 1 Pro licenses drop.
- Manual and Changelog in the Hub Menu. The Hub hamburger menu now includes Manual and Changelog buttons, so you can open both without leaving Swyvo.
- System Tray Quick Access. Right-clicking the Swyvo icon in the Windows system tray now gives you direct access to the Manual, Changelog, and Send Feedback.
Improvements
- Adaptive Loadout App Logos. The "when running" trigger now shows the target app's logo instead of just text, making rules easier to identify at a glance. App logos also display correctly when you edit a rule.
- Slot Shortcut Hints. When an app slot receives focus, it now displays its slot number so you always know which hotkey to press.
- Hub Keyboard Navigation. You can now fully navigate the lower Hub bar — Hamburger menu, Send Feedback, and Settings — using only the keyboard.
- Automatic Update Checks. Update checks now start automatically about 20 seconds after launch and repeat every 6 hours, instead of waiting until you open the Hub.
Fixes
- Window Tracking Race Condition. Launching two apps in quick succession no longer lets the slower one hijack window tracking.
- Always-on-Top Pin Release. Swyvo now properly drops the always-on-top pin from the previous window when you switch apps.
- Alt+Tab Focus Restore. Fixed an aggressive focus issue where Swyvo would pull focus back when you tried to Alt+Tab away.
- Launch Error Messages. Apps that fail to open or require Administrator privileges now show a clear, human-readable error instead of failing silently.
- Anti-Cheat Recheck on Embed. Anti-cheat games are now properly rechecked and handled when the window is actually embedded.
- Windows Store Handle Leak. Fixed a memory handle leak that occurred every time a Windows Store app was launched.
- App Gallery Logos. The App Gallery now correctly renders app logos in the web list.
- Discard Trigger Edits. Hitting "Discard" now properly undoes pending trigger edits.
- Outside-App Warning Cancel. Cancelling the warning on apps that open outside of Swyvo no longer leaves the UI in a stale, unclickable state.
- Slot Drop Outside the Window. Accidentally dropping a slot outside the window boundaries no longer randomly reorders your loadout.
- App Picker Slot Cleanup. Leaving the app picker now cleanly clears any pending slot assignments.
- Empty App Name Crash. Saving an app with a completely empty name no longer crashes the Hub.
- Async Favicon Downloads. Favicon downloads now happen in the background and will no longer freeze the Hub UI.
- Telemetry Privacy Stripping. User names, emails, and full URLs are now stripped from all telemetry events — only the site's base host is kept.
- First-Run Consent. First-run sessions are now only recorded after you give explicit consent.
- Error Reporting Timeouts. Background error reporting now has bounded network timeouts, so it can never block or slow down the UI.
- Background Task Logging. Failed background tasks are now properly logged for debugging instead of vanishing silently.
- Host-Based Adaptive Layout Matching. Adaptive Layout rules now strictly match on the site's host, so a Google search for "discord.com" will no longer accidentally trigger your Discord layout rule.
- Windows Hotkey Conflict Reporting. If a keyboard shortcut is already taken by Windows, Swyvo now reports the conflict instead of silently saving a broken hotkey.

Settings That Survive a Reboot
Some people saw Swyvo act like a brand-new install after every restart: the welcome screen came back, the hotkey reset to Alt + Q, and saved workspaces disappeared — even though apps in the sidebar were still there. This update fixes that so your setup stays put after you log back in.
Fixes
- Settings Stick After Restart. Your hotkey, Adaptive Loadouts, and other preferences should still be there the next time you open Swyvo — no need to set everything up again after a reboot.
- Welcome Screen Shows Once. The first-run welcome appears on your first install. After that, it should not keep coming back every time you start your PC. Pressing your summon hotkey to dismiss it counts the same as Get Started.
- Workspaces Stay Saved. Rules you add and save in Workspaces should remain after you restart, not vanish from the list.
Improvements
- More Reliable Saving. Swyvo is better at remembering what you changed during a session, so closing apps or adjusting the window is less likely to undo a hotkey or workspace you already saved.

Settings That Stay Saved
This patch is all about making sure Swyvo remembers you. We found cases where the welcome screen, your hotkey, and Adaptive Loadouts could reset after a restart — even after you had already saved them. Those settings now persist the way they should.
Fixes
- One-Time Welcome Screen. The "Welcome to Swyvo" popup now appears once on first install and never again. Dismissing it with Alt + Q counts the same as clicking Get Started, so a restart will not bring it back.
- Hotkey Persistence. Changing the summon hotkey from Alt + Q now survives a restart. Closing a web app or resizing the window will no longer silently revert it to the default.
- Adaptive Loadout Persistence. Saved workspace rules now stay saved. Opening web apps, changing zoom, or restarting your PC will no longer wipe a loadout you already confirmed.

Anti-Cheat Safety
We added a new safety layer to keep Swyvo out of the way of anti-cheat protected games entirely. If a game runs software like Vanguard, Easy Anti-Cheat, or BattlEye, Swyvo now avoids it automatically — no setup required. This only affects launching a game as a Swyvo slot. Swyvo itself can still run normally in the background while you play — this change only stops it from directly tracking or overlaying a protected game window.
New
- Automatic Anti-Cheat Detection. Swyvo now recognizes anti-cheat protected games — including Valorant, Fortnite, CS2, League of Legends, Apex, PUBG, and many others — and keeps them out of My Apps automatically, so they can never be accidentally added to a slot.
- Safe Launch Blocking. If one of these games was already assigned to a slot before this update, Swyvo will no longer launch it through the app. You'll see a clear message explaining why, and can always launch the game normally outside Swyvo — just not through a Swyvo slot.

The Early Supporter Program
To thank the beta testers helping us refine the core engine, we are officially opening the Swyvo Early Supporter program. We are giving away permanent, lifetime access to the first 50 users who claim a spot.
New
- Claim Lifetime Access. A new animated portal has been added to the footer of the Swyvo Hub. Simply click it, enter your email, and secure one of the 50 available lifetime licenses. No credit card, no strings attached.
- Hardware-Locked Claims. To ensure fairness and prevent botting, claims are strictly limited to one email and one spot per physical machine.

Adaptive Loadout Stability & Speed
This patch focuses entirely on refining the Adaptive Loadout engine. We rebuilt the focus tracking logic to ensure your automated workspaces trigger instantly, respect your Lock Layout settings, and never accidentally reset while you are managing your apps.
Improvements
- Instant Layout Switching. We removed background debounce delays in the focus monitor. Your sidebar will now snap to the correct Adaptive Loadout the exact millisecond you switch OS windows, making transitions feel perfectly seamless.
Fixes
- Swyvo Hub Whitelisting. Interacting with the Swyvo app or its settings will no longer accidentally break your active Adaptive Loadout. The engine now recognizes Swyvo as a safe zone and retains your current loadout.
- Strict Lock Layout Enforcement. If "Lock Layout" is turned OFF, clicking on one of your active Slot Apps will now correctly break the layout and instantly revert the sidebar to your Default state.
- Trigger App Re-arming. Fixed an issue where the layout would get stuck in the Default state after a lock was broken. Now, clicking back into your designated Main App (like VS Code) will immediately re-detect the app and restore your custom sidebar layout.
